5th February 2013.
Today I thought was very successful. We filmed in my house, I didn't have to change my room at all because the colours, and layout if of a girl who hardly works, (no revision.) We started with the character Jess reading out the poem, we left gaps in between each line as this will make our editing process a lot easier. We tried out a variety of shots such as other the shoulder, mid shots and long shots and we will choose between each depending on what lighting works with our trailer and genre and the quality of filming. We also filmed the character Jess getting out of bed, with Eden inside her. As I play the character of jess I couldn't film today as I was in the shots, but I worked equally as hard by, changing my character dramatically while getting out of bed, by doing this I scratched my bum cheek and looked messy. Hopefully this comes across well in our trailer. My group filmed me looking into the mirror but also shot a close up of my face screaming as during our planning process we wanted to use a split screen of both characters screaming as this shows confusion and the narrative clearly. Today we also filmed shots of both characters getting along as we wanted to include this within our trailer. Rebecca filmed me and Aimee walking up my walk together with shopping bags, a clip of Eden as jess giving jess as Eden a cigarette, and Jess choking, we also filmed a shot of Jess helping Eden revise this shows the differences of the character and all of these factors relate to our target audience as every girl from the age of 12-25 experiences shopping, revision, and pier pressure this well give our trailer a great link to our trailer.
